Saturday was another wet day, with some flood watches and
warnings continuing in sections of the region.  My station is
not in a real flood prone region. But streams nearby can
flood, but we are away from them enough that they never
threaten our property. Rain, low pressure, pretty decent winds
at times, fog, and a predictable low temperature range were
the key descriptive points for the day. Rain showers overnight
and into the day on Sunday with a gradual improvement till
Tuesday,when the sun should return and the rain should go
elsewhere.  We still have a flood watch continuing for our
region into early next week. Temps should remain in the upper
40s to lower 50s into Monday.

Low temp 47.2° recorded at 0000
Obs temp tonight 48.2°
Rel hum ranged from a max of 100% (0326) to a low of 93% (0522)
Dew point ranged from 51° to 46°.
Peak Wind Gust 32 MPH from the NE (0525)
Pressure ranged from 29.68"(0000) to 29.30"(1754)
 
At obs tonight the temp was 48.6° on the RS, 48.2° on the VP2,
97% rel hum, cloudy with light rain, 47° dew point, pressure 29.37" and 
rising.  Winds 2 MPH from the N.
    
Currently (4:56 AM EDT) the temp is 47.7° on the VP2,
48.2° on the RS, rel hum 98%, dew pt 47°. Barometer steady at 29.36". 
Cloudy with light rain. Winds Calm at the moment
(quite variable in speed and direction at this time). 
 
Radar showed an area of showers and thundershowers to the SE several
hours ago moving NW towards us and has now been over our area for a
while. So far since midnight an additional 0.33" of rain has fallen
according to the VP2 gauge.

Kevin, holding out the hope for more snow to be a snowywalrus once again but nothing
at all anytime soon, from Gaithersburg Maryland signing off for the evening. Now on
