Consumer and the holiday spirit
Consumers seem to be building momentum heading into the holiday season.
According data from the Commerce Department consumer spending rose 0.7 percent from the last month, potentially easing some concern about the economy and unemployment.
A new survey shows that one-third consumers spend more on the holidays than they did year ago, and 22 percent said “they’re already spending more” than they planned.
According to Deloitte, about 44 percent of all consumers plan to shop online or in stores, and 31 percent will do both.
There are also negative comments “The economy is in slump, unemployment is rising”. Spending over your budget is not the best holiday idea.
Please consider the consequences of what you may be doing this holiday season to boost the spirit of Christmas and spending money you do not have, on thinks you do not need?
Please think again.
Have a wonderful Christmas
